Scott Equipment Company provides construction equipment, cranes, and forklifts. Its construction equipment includes dump trucks, backhoe loaders, excavators, compact-sized excavators, road graders, wheel loaders, dozers, skid steers, compatactors, screens, rock drills, crushers, tele handlers, boom lifts, sweepers, water trucks, hammers/breakers, air compressors, construction attachements, light towers, and pumps. The company also provides crane trucks, lift trucks, and lift truck attachments; and parts, including bolts, filters, and engines.
Communication is essential to Scott Equipment's business. Scott Companies needed to enable a cost effective email and messaging solution that would streamline communication and collaboration throughout the organization.
In order to create more efficient communication within the company, Scott Companies determined that they wanted to take advantage of the availability offered by cloud hosted solutions. The Microsoft Office 365 environment was identified as the solution of choice because it offered them not only email availability but also instant messaging and online meeting capabilities that they could leverage to increase collaboration in the organization.
Intucio assisted Scott Companies with the implementation and migration of their on-premises Exchange environment to Office 365. Intucio also assisted with the enabling of Skype for Business for all users in the organization.
As a result of this engagement, Scott Equipment has all of its email users migrated to the Office 365 platform. This has created a uniform environment with streamlined communication for all of their employees and increased collaboration throughout the organization.
